Elezione abbaziale a Marienfeld

This morning, in the Abbey of Marienfeld, Sr. Maria Immaculata Maierhofer O.Cist was elected as the third Abbess of Marienfeld. Sr. Immaculata was largely responsible for setting up the parament workshop in Marienfeld and is a very conscientious sacristan.
She was born on December 19, 1956 in Goldgeben, NÖ, and made her solemn profession on October 13, 1979.
We congratulate the new Abbess on her election and ask God to bless her and the community.
