Meeting of the Congress for the Cause of Saints to discuss the Servant of God, Maria di San Giovanni Evangelista

On October 5, 2023 the Special Congress of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints met to discuss the alleged life, virtues and fame and holiness of the Servant of God Mother Mary of Saint John the Evangelist, professed nun of the Cistercian Order and founder of the Monastery of Holy Cross in Casarubbios del Monte (Toledo). At the end of the Congress, all the consultants expressed an affirmative vote (9 out of 9).
